Gone Abroad: The Philippines (Itinerary)

We recently went on an amazing trip to the Philippines. Since we experienced so much I had to break the blog posts into two parts. I have the links listed here as well as our itinerary and what we did!

Day 1: Landed in Manila

Day 2: (Manila) Sight-seeing: Fort Santiago and the old Spanish Walls, Rizal Museum, Manila Cathedral, lunch at Barabaras, the oldest church in Manila

Day 3: Traveled to Tagaytay, lunch at Antonio’s

Day 4:  Kidzania Manila and traveled to Subic Bay/Olongapo

Day 5: (Subic Bay/Olongapo) Day at the beach, boat tour around Subic Bay, Boodle Fight picnic lunch

 

Day 6: (Subic Bay/Olongapo) Mass, public market and family party

Day 7: (Subic Bay/Olongapo) Visited a local school, Ocean Adventure to swim with dolphins!


Day 8:
 (Candelaria) Potipot Island, paying our respects at the cemetary

Day 9: (Subic Bay/Olongapo) Rest day with swimming at the hotel, tricycle ride, visit to the market, and homework

Day 10: Traveled to Baguio, lunch at the SM Food Court, Mines View Park, The Mansion, horseback riding at Wright Park, dinner at Mamita’s

Day 11: (Baguio) Visited the Pink Sisters, went strawberry picking at the farm, Bell Church, lunch at Ketchup Food Community (Green Pepper), Baguio Botanical Garden, and Dinosaur’s Island

Day 12: (Baguio) Philippine Military Academy, Bell House/Amphitheater, Cemetery of Negativity, Tree Top Adventure, lunch at Chocolate de Batirol, Paddle Boats and biking at Burnham Park!

Day 13: Travel back to Manila, dinner at a fancy Mall near the airport

Day 14: Up early to head home
